COLUMBIA, S.C. — Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard (U.S. Rep, Hawaii) will be visiting the Palmetto State for a three day visit that will include a breakfast at Reid Chapel, a private dinner with veterans, a tour of small businesses in Orangeburg and a Woman to Woman Talk. She is also speaking at the South Carolina Democratic Party’s Spratt Issues Conference and holding a Town Hall at Furman University.

At every event, Tulsi will discuss her commitment to service above self and she will share her vision of ushering in a future of peace, human dignity, true equality and environmental protection for all.

Ad Will Run on African-American Radio Stations Across the State

Columbia, SC — Cory 2020 is launching a new radio advertisement in South Carolina that will air on African-American radio stations across the state. The ad highlights Booker's personal history and outlines his fight to unify our country and beat Donald Trump.

"Here in South Carolina, you cannot win an election if you don't connect and engage with Black voters — and with this ad, we're speaking directly with voters across the state," said Christale Spain, Cory Booker's South Carolina State Director. "Cory has spent his time in South Carolina as a presidential candidate talking with and more importantly, listening to Black voters. Every time he leaves a room here, the audience is won over — and we want to bring that emotion statewide. We're excited to invest in such important local media and share Cory's message of justice and opportunity for all with South Carolinians."

North Charleston, South Carolina — Today, South Carolina State Representative Marvin Pendarvis, one of the youngest Democrats in the State House, released the following statement endorsing Joe Biden for President of the United States:

“Throughout his campaign, Joe Biden has taken hits from every direction imaginable but is still standing strong. He has proven that he is tough and resilient, and that is resonating with young voters in South Carolina. I am a part of that younger generation that is learning that Joe Biden is someone who knows what it takes to make government work for the people again.
