Julián Castro Travels to Nevada on April 26-27, 2019 *Updated
Secretary Castro to host Las Vegas house party and address the SEIU/CAPAF 2019 candidate forum
SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 24, 2019) – This Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, presidential candidate and former U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary under President Obama and San Antonio Mayor, Julián Castro, will travel to Nevada for his fifth trip to the state since announcing his candidacy in January.
On Friday, Secretary Castro will meet with conservation leaders, Hispanic high school activists, the largest medical housestaff union in the United States, and attend a house party with local Democratic activists. On Saturday, Secretary Castro will deliver remarks at the "National Forum on Wages and Working People" hosted by the SEIU and Center for American Progress Action Fund (CAPAF).
In Nevada, Secretary Castro will highlight his support for an economy that works for every American and will outline his vision for a more inclusive and prosperous nation, one where every American can live up to the promise of their potential.
