Native Women for Biden and Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan Host Midwest Talking Circle Event
On Friday, September 4, Native Women for Biden will host a “Talking Circle” with Midwest tribal elected officials and activists, where they will highlight issues impacting Native women and the challenges the community has faced throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Talking Circle will include Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, Tricia Zunker associate justice of the Ho-Chunk Nation Supreme Court and 7th Congressional Candidate District of Wisconsin, Shannon Holsey President of the Stockbridge-Munsee band of Mohican, Shelley Buck President of Prairie Island Indian Community, Whitney Gravelle Tribal Attorney for Bay Mills Indian Community and commissioner on the Michigan Women’s Commission, and Biden for President Tribal Engagement Director Clara Pratte.
