Bernie Sanders to Lead Des Moines March to End Corporate Greed, Hold Stops in Cedar Rapids and Waterloo
March to End Corporate Greed to conclude at Bernie 2020 People’s Celebration Watch Party
DES MOINES -- Sen. Bernie Sanders will return to Iowa this Friday, Saturday and Sunday to hold stops in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo.
Following Sanders’ End Corporate Greed Tour of Iowa last week, Sanders will lead the “March to End Corporate Greed” in Des Moines on Friday, November 1st. At the conclusion of the march, Sanders will host a People’s Celebration Watch Party where supporters and marchers will gather for live entertainment, food and watch a livestream of Sen. Sanders’ remarks at the Iowa Democratic Party Liberty and Justice Celebration.
On Saturday, Sanders will participate in the NAACP Economic Freedom Town Hall in Des Moines and speak at the Finkenaur and Labor Fish Fry and the Accessibility, Inclusion and Outreach Candidate Forum in Cedar Rapids. Sanders will then hold a town hall at Horizons, a local organization that provides meals for local seniors.
On Sunday, Sanders will host a town hall in Waterloo and speak at the Americans for Democratic Action “Turn Iowa Bluesfest.”
