Bernie Sanders to Visit Jackson, Mississippi on Friday, March 6, 2020
WASHINGTON-Sen. Bernie Sanders will travel to Mississippi this Friday, March 6th, to deliver remarks at the Two Mississippi Museums in Jackson, home to the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
The visit comes just days after Sanders received the endorsement of Jackson Mayor Chokwe Lumumba. The mayor announced his support after a diverse cross section of residents overwhelmingly voted to endorse Sanders during the Jackson People’s Caucus.
