Bernie Sanders to Return to Michigan This Weekend Ahead of Primary ****Updated
Sanders’ Michigan swing this weekend includes stops in Detroit, Dearborn, Flint, Grand Rapids, and Ann Arbor
WASHINGTON -Sen. Bernie Sanders will continue to campaign in Michigan this weekend ahead of the March 10 primary. After rallying supporters in Detroit on Friday night, Sen. Sanders will travel to Dearborn, Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor to hold Get Out the Vote rallies. Sanders will also hold a Town Hall on Racial and Economic Justice in Flint.
Sen. Sanders’ previous trips to the Great Lakes State include joining the picket line in solidarity with striking United Auto Workers (UAW) members in Hamtramck, as well as rallies at Macomb Community College in Warren and Cass Technical High School in Detroit.
