Pete For America Volunteers To Host Over 100 Grassroots Debate Watch Parties Across All Super Tuesday States
South Bend, IN — As support for Pete Buttigieg continues to grow across the country, Pete For America announced volunteers will host over 100 grassroots debate watch parties today across all Super Tuesday states — in addition to watch parties in all 50 states.
In a clear sign that Pete’s message is winning over a broad coalition of voters — including many independents and Republicans that voted for Donald Trump in the last election —- volunteers will host several watch parties in counties that voted for President Obama before voting for Trump.
The watch parties offer supporters the chance to talk to their neighbors about why Pete is the leader we need to turn the page on the dysfunction of Washington and unite the country around a vision for the future so we can finally tackle our greatest challenges.
The debate watch parties are just the latest indication of Pete’s growing momentum across the country from Alabama to Utah, Oklahoma to North Carolina, Arkansas to Ohio, and beyond. Pete For America now has on-the-ground organizers in every Super Tuesday state to help mobilize the energy from existing grassroots volunteer teams, which have sprouted in EVERY congressional district in EVERY Super Tuesday state and have been organizing their communities for months. Staff are also working with digital captains and Students for Pete chapters to continue engaging voters wherever they are.
