Pete Buttigieg Doubles Organizing Operation and Launches New Ads in Nevada After Strong Performance in New Hampshire, Brings Total Nevada Staff to 100
LAS VEGAS, NV — Today, Pete for America announced that it will double its organizing operation in Nevada following Pete’s strong performance in the New Hampshire primary and will now have 100 staff in the Battle Born state engaging and organizing caucusgoers ahead of the Nevada caucuses on February 22nd. Pete for America is also increasing its investment in television and digital advertising in Nevada following Pete’s Iowa victory, including launching the television ad, “Your Choice” to ensure Nevadans across the state are hearing his message leading into the caucuses. The ad highlights Pete’s Medicare for All Who Want It plan — a bold, new approach to health care, which lowers costs, achieves universal coverage, and protects choice.

Pete has undeniable momentum heading into the beginning of Nevada’s early voting period, which starts on Saturday, February 15. Pete won the Iowa Caucuses by attracting and mobilizing a broad coalition of voters from all geographies, backgrounds, and political parties, including winning 21 of the 31 Iowa counties that flipped from Obama to Trump in 2016 and coming in first or second in nearly all demographic and age groups. In the days following the Iowa Caucuses, where Pete proved he is the best candidate to beat Donald Trump and unify this country around a bold vision for the future, over 100 people signed up to be Pete for America precinct captains and lead their communities in support of Pete at their caucuses.
Like in Iowa, New Hampshire voters agreed that Pete is the candidate best positioned to beat Donald Trump and responded to his fresh perspective and vision for the future. Rather than having to decide between a revolution and the status quo, Pete is offering a new path forward that breaks from politics from the past and draws a unified coalition together to finally tackle our greatest challenges — like achieving universal health care while protecting choice, lifting wages and providing a path for working people to get ahead, and combating climate change before it's too late.
