Trump Campaign to Fly Aerial banner, Run Newspaper Ad Ahead of Dem Debate in Des Moines
President Donald J. Trump’s re-election campaign is taking to the skies and the pages of The Des Moines Register today to provide counter messaging ahead of the Democrat debate in Des Moines, Iowa. The Trump campaign will promote the President’s support of Iowa farmers by employing aerial advertising across Des Moines for six hours today, while also running a full-page, color newspaper ad to describe the disastrous economic effects of the Democrat agenda.
"As Democrats descend on Des Moines for yet another debate, Team Trump is warning voters the Democrats’ agenda would devastate Iowa's economy,” said Trump 2020 communications director Tim Murtaugh. “At the same time, Iowans can rest assured knowing President Trump continues to protect farmers and grow our already strong economy."
The flyover will feature a massive banner reading “TRUMP FIGHTS FOR IOWA FARMERS!” and will take place from 10:30AM - 5:00PM (CT) with a small break in the afternoon.
