Amy Klobuchar To Campaign in Council Bluffs
Tonight’s Stop Will Mark Amy Klobuchar’s 200th Campaign Event In Iowa
DES MOINES, IA — Amy For America just announced that Senator Amy Klobuchar will make a surprise trip to Council Bluffs tonight, where she will meet with Iowa caucus-goers in the final days leading into caucus day.
Earlier today, Senator Klobuchar hosted her third tele-townhall, in which she spoke to over 12,500 Iowa seniors about her plans to lower the cost of prescription drugs and make long-term care insurance more affordable. Over 35,500 Iowans have participated in tele-town halls with Senator Klobuchar over the past week.
A new poll released by Emerson College/7 News shows Klobuchar with 13% support in Iowa. In the last week, Klobuchar has received endorsements from the Quad-City Times, New York Times, New Hampshire Union Leader and the Keene Sentinel.
