Bernie Sanders Launches New TV Ad Calling on Iowans to Fight for Someone They Don’t Know
DES MOINES – Sen. Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign on Thursday launched a new television ad featuring scenes of volunteers and supporters working together across Iowa.

The ad features remarks from Sen. Sanders’ rally in October with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and over 25,000 supporters. Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez will hold events together in Iowa this weekend, including rallies in Ames on Saturday night and Sioux City on Sunday night.
“Transform This Country” is Sanders’ 11th ad to run in Iowa, following “Fights For Us,” “Hope,” “Iowa First,” “Belongs To Us,” “Big Us,” “For All,” “Billionaires,” “Patients Before Profits,” “Strive” and “Our Side.” All eleven ads have been produced entirely in-house by Bernie 2020 staff.

MIKE BLOOMBERG 2020 RELEASES BLISTERING NEW TV AD CALLING OUT PRESIDENT TRUMP OVER DEMEANING, DISRESPECTFUL, AND SHAMEFUL TREATMENT OF MILITARY LEADERS

NEW YORK — Today, the Mike Bloomberg 2020 campaign is taking aim at President Trump in a forceful new campaign ad condemning his demeaning treatment of America’s most decorated military leaders. In one of the starkest depictions of Trump’s volatile personality, the new ad underscores his disrespect for military service and sacrifice, and his recklessness in dismissing the advice of top military advisors. It also reminds viewers of the chaos Trump has sown throughout the military and federal government. The TV ad will run nationwide.
This morning on “Fox and Friends,” Mike Bloomberg 2020 Campaign Manager Kevin Sheekey spoke about the new 30-second ad and about how shameful it is that Trump disrespects members of the military who sacrifice so much to keep us safe.
“These men and women risk their lives, they keep us and our families safe, and protect this country at home and abroad,” Sheekey said. “Trump should be heaping praise about their service and sacrifice, not stripping them of their dignity.”
Mike has been running a national campaign to beat Trump, and “Pentagon” is the latest in a series of ads calling out Trump on his failures and vulnerabilities. The ad quotes Trump calling United States military leaders, “a bunch of dopes and babies,” and follows on the heels of ads highlighting Trump’s broken promises on health care and infrastructure — and on his failure to address pressing problems like climate change.
By contrast, Mike has a long record of supporting members of the military, veterans, and military families. During his three terms as New York City’s mayor, he launched the Veterans Employment Initiative to help veterans find jobs and housing as they returned to civilian life.
“The U.S. military is a professional, disciplined force, but I don’t think that President Trump has treated it as such,” Mike wrote recently in the Military Times. “He has ignored the advice of senior officers, overruled commanders’ advice on military punishments and made strategic decisions that have abandoned our partners on the battlefield.”
Unlike Trump, Mike will not only give our members of the military the respect they deserve, but also support in the Pentagon, on the battlefield, and during their transition to civilian life.
Mike will continue to highlight Trump’s irresponsible behavior in the coming months, as he has in other ads. Trump is attacking affordable healthcare for all in one healthcare ad.

MANCHESTER — Bennet for America today launched a new television ad in New Hampshire to demonstrate why Michael Bennet is the best candidate to beat Donald Trump and move the country forward. The ad — named “Two Weeks at a Time” for Bennet’s most viral tweet — makes clear why he is the opposite of Donald Trump: As president, he’ll keep his head down and work hard so Americans can raise their families and live their lives.
Last week, the campaign announced it achieved its $700,000 New Hampshire Investment Strategy, a fundraising goal set one month ago to build the resources to compete in New Hampshire, including an expanded TV and digital buy for this new ad. The campaign’s advertising investment in New Hampshire will reach six figures this week and includes its first TV ad — “Opposite of Trump” — as well as the “Just the Truth” digital series on Bennet’s personal story, experiences in leadership and service, and motivations underlying his run for president.
“Voters are asking one question in this election: Who can beat Donald Trump?” said Bennet for America spokesperson Shannon Beckham. “To beat Trump, we need the opposite of Trump, and Michael represents that in every way. People are exhausted by the chaos and uncertainty from the Oval Office, and they are looking for a candidate who will bring steady leadership back to Washington.”
The tweet, which received more than 40,000 likes and retweets, was covered by outlets ranging from the Associated Press and Washington Post to MSNBC’s Morning Joe and The Daily Show. As the Associated Press wrote, “Bennet is tying his candidacy to perhaps the most audacious proposition of all, that voters may actually crave the opposite of the relentlessly turbulent tenure of Trump.” The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah described it as “a really interesting pitch because basically what you are saying is, ‘Vote for me because I’ll get the job done.’” MSNBC’s Willie Geist said Bennet “effectively made the most compelling case of the 2020 race.”
Last month, Bennet announced his commitment to hold 50 town halls in New Hampshire during the final 10 weeks before the First in the Nation primary. With his tally at 38 town halls since then, Bennet is tied for the most events in the state. The campaign has also announced new endorsements recently, including famed strategist James Carville, former Cory Booker supporter State Rep. Bob Backus, and two former chairs of Concord’s school board.

New TV ad campaign is running in 27 states, including those where Republican Senators are up for re-election
NEW YORK - The Mike Bloomberg 2020 Campaign today began airing a new TV ad calling on Republicans to vote for the removal of President Trump.
Mike has been running a national campaign to beat Trump, whose impeachment trial begins today. The new TV ad is running nationwide in 27 states and nationally on MSNBC, CNN and ESPN. The 30-second far-reaching ad will also air in the states represented by Republican senators facing competitive re-election bids: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina and Texas.
“It’s time for the Senate to act and remove Trump from office,” Mike said in the ad. “And if they won’t do their jobs, this November, you and I will.”
After the House Democrats impeached Trump in December, Mike praised the vote, saying the House did its duty under the Constitution. Mike said the evidence of wrongdoing is overwhelming and that, if he was a senator, he would vote to convict Trump.
In the ad, Mike says: “I am running to defeat Donald Trump,” before referencing a speech he gave at the 2016 Demoncratic National Convention in Philadelphia. “In 2016, I warned that Donald Trump was a dangerous demagogue,” he says.

MANCHESTER, NH - During tonight’s debate, Deval Patrick’s campaign for president will air a new 30-second ad on CNN. The ad will offer New Hampshire voters an overview of Governor Patrick’s life and professional experience. This ad placement comes on the heels of the campaign’s announcement of its six-figure ad buy last week. The ad will continue to run in New Hampshire after the debate.
“There’s no frontrunner in this race, and our campaign continues to build momentum in New Hampshire as other campaigns have started to wind down,” Campaign Manager Abe Rakov said. “As more voters hear Deval’s story, they are convinced that he’s the candidate with the life and leadership experience to defeat Donald Trump and renew the American Dream for everyone, everywhere.”

John Delaney Releases New Iowa Ad to Air During Democratic Debate
FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS, MD - In a new ad to air tonight during the Democratic Debate, John Delaney delivers a call for “a real plan to bring jobs and entrepreneurship to small towns that are shrinking and aging and being left behind.” In the ad which is running statewide Tuesday, Delaney tells Iowa voters that he has stayed in the race to fight for them, and how he is the only candidate with real ideas and practical solutions that can actually get done.

Kennedy’s famous speech in 1962 calling on America to strive for greatness, saying, “We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.” The ad continues with Sanders echoing Kennedy’s words and stating that settling for half measures is not good enough.
