Republican Party of Minnesota (MNGOP) Statement on State Central Announcements
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan released the following statement regarding new staff positions at the MNGOP announced at today's State Central Committee Meeting:
"We are excited to announce the appointment of Carleton Crawford as the new Deputy Chair for the Republican Party of Minnesota. Carleton has extensive experience serving the organization in different capacities, including serving as the CD5 Chair from 2005-2011. We look forward to welcoming Carleton in this new role as we head towards the 2020 election.
"I am also pleased to announce that we have officially moved Becky Alery into the Executive Director Role. Becky will continue to lead our communications strategy as well as overseeing party staff efforts and helping to implement the strategy that will turn Minnesota red in 2020.
"Additionally, we shared the hiring of Spencer Krier as our new Operations Manager. Spencer has worked at the state legislature, within the 1st Congressional District board and helped with campaigns throughout the state. He will lead the party's Caucus operations and BPOU outreach to ensure we are building the team that will lead to a successful November election."
