How can you help Mike?

As a state director you will lead the overall strategy of the program, oversee the grassroots infrastructure, create and maintain high-level political relationships, and manage the leadership staff in the state. You'll be a direct report of the Regional States Director.

Your responsibilities will include:
Run a team of Directors and state-specific Department heads.
Hire, lead, train and mentor leadership team.
Relay clear directives, needs and expectations to field staff throughout the state.
Build state-specific goals and metrics in support of overall national campaign plan.
Be accountable for reaching state-wide goals and metrics outlined in the field plan by Regional States Director.
Identify and track state-wide progress to daily and weekly goals.
Serve as a campaign representative within the state with activists and state-wide leadership.
Develop and execute an overall state-strategy.
Handle workflow and internal communications between organizing, digital, political and communications teams.
Serve as a campaign liaison with key stakeholders, elected officials and community leaders.
Run and execute special projects, state-visits through coordination with HQ staff for.
Serve as a gatekeeper for organizational resource deployment and upward communication.
You'll need to have:
At least three cycles of political field or comparable political experience or issue related campaign/organizational management.
A flexible, adaptive and composed attitude.
An innate ability to execute under pressure and stay on task.
Experience with CRM and tracking reporting process.
Great work ethic; with long hours and weekends needed
