Bernie Sanders to Return To Iowa to Hold Town Hall, Attend Holiday Events and Host New Year’s Eve Bash
DES MOINES — Sen. Bernie Sanders will return to Iowa December 29th through the 31st for campaign stops in Polk, Dallas and Madison counties.
Sanders will hold a Unidos con Bernie holiday party and attend a menorah lighting at Chanukah on Ice on Sunday, December 29. He will host a public brunch meeting in Dallas County and a town hall in Winterset on Monday the 30th. On New Year’s Eve, Sanders will hold a press conference at noon ahead of Bernie’s Big New Year’s Bash in Des Moines.

DES MOINES — Prince’s longtime backing band, The New Power Generation, will headline Bernie's Big New Year's Bash in Des Moines on Tuesday.
The New Power Generation’s set will begin at around 7:30 p.m. at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown. Doors open for Bernie’s Big New Year’s Bash at 5:00 p.m. and the overall program begins at 6:30 p.m. with featured speakers and additional musical guests.
