Kamala Harris to Return to Nevada on November 8-9, 2019
Harris Will Visit Las Vegas as the First Candidate to Participate in Culinary 226’s Presidential Town Hall, Visit Veterans’ Village
On Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9, Senator Kamala Harris will campaign in Las Vegas, Nevada. On November 8, Kamala will be the first 2020 presidential candidate to participate in a presidential town hall hosted by Culinary Workers Union Local 226, and on November 9, she will visit Veterans Village.
Culinary 226 is hosting a series of town hall events in Las Vegas with leading Democratic candidates in the 2020 U.S. presidential race to discuss issues that matter most to its union members — creating more good union jobs, health care, immigration, and more. On Saturday, Kamala will visit Veterans Village, a transitional and permanent housing residence for United States veterans. Harris will tour the facility and learn about the services it provides to residents including housing, medical and mental health services, employment training, and food pantry/nutrition programs.
This will be Kamala’s ninth visit to Nevada as a presidential candidate and her eleventh visit to Nevada since 2018, when she visited the state twice to campaign for Nevada’s Democratic ticket.
