Deval Patrick to Travel to Columbia, South Carolina on Tuesday, November 19, 2019
COLUMBIA, SC — Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19, Deval Patrick will travel to Columbia, South Carolina for two public events.
First, he will visit The ConverSpace, a woman-owned coworking space for local entrepreneurs and organizations. DeAnna Bookert, a local business owner, will introduce Gov. Patrick to Tamika Washington, the owner of the co-working space, during a monthly networking meeting of African American women business owners. Attendees will discuss the problems facing local small businesses and the solutions needed to fix them.
Then, the Democratic Black Caucus of South Carolina with host a community conversation with Gov. Patrick at My House Restaurant and Bar in Columbia where Chairman Johnnie Cordero will introduce the Governor.
