Amy Klobuchar Returns to Iowa on November 7-9, 2019 **Updated
DES MOINES, IA — On the heels of her widely praised speech at the Iowa Democratic Party’s Liberty and Justice Celebration, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar will return to Iowa this weekend for campaign stops in central and Northwest Iowa. Klobuchar will meet with Urbandale Area Democrats on November 7 and will hold public events in Ankeny, Pocahontas and Sioux Center on November 8, in addition to visiting Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.
On November 9, Klobuchar will join local Democrats in Woodbury County for a caucus training event. She will then make stops in Plymouth and Palo Alto Counties. Klobuchar will visit her 60th county in Iowa of the state’s 99 on this trip, which marks her 23rd visit to the state since announcing her candidacy for president. To date, she has the support of more current and former members of the Iowa legislature than any other candidate in the race.
