Tulsi Gabbard to Host Town Hall in Fairfield, Coffee and Toffee Events Throughout Iowa on October 7-9, 2019

DES MOINES, Iowa — Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard (U.S. Rep, Hawaii) will be hosting a town hall in Fairfield on Monday. She will also host a Coffee and Toffee series of events in Anamosa, Monticello, Solon, Brighton, Washington and House Parties in Cedar Rapids and Dubuque on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Inspired by a story Tulsi often tells about asking her mom to make toffee for each of her Congressional colleagues and their staff as a gesture of unity and goodwill when she was first elected to Congress, the Coffee and Toffee series is an opportunity for voters to have honest conversations about their hopes and concerns for their communities and our country.

The campaign is focused on reaching out to people across the political spectrum. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, disenfranchised voters and new voters are all invited to join respectful conversations and engagement across the political spectrum. At each event, Tulsi will continue to share her bold vision for ending our engagement in costly regime change wars, the new Cold War and arms race, and investing our resources in serving the needs of the American people.
