Mayor Pete Buttigieg To Return to South Carolina for Two Day Swing *Updated
COLUMBIA, SC –– Mayor Pete Buttigieg will return to South Carolina for a series of events this weekend. On Saturday, Pete will join a tailgate at Allen University Homecoming before speaking at the Second Step Presidential Justice Forum in Columbia. Later that day, he will host a town hall in Rock Hill and will become the first presidential candidate to visit the Catawba Indian Nation. On Sunday, Buttigieg will speak at the AME Zion Regional Conference and tour the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall then kick off a volunteer canvass in Rock Hill.
This marks Pete’s sixth trip to the Palmetto State since he launched his campaign. The campaign now has 34 staff on the ground and 4 open field offices.
