SOUTH BEND, IN -- Ahead of Tuesday’s Democratic presidential debate in Westerville, Ohio, Pete Buttigieg has earned the endorsement of eight prominent elected officials and party leaders from across the state.

These new endorsements build on early support from Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, and Lima Mayor David Berger, demonstrating significant energy behind the Pete for America campaign in Ohio.

Kamala Harris to Return to Iowa October 20-23, 2019 *Updated

Harris will attend Linn County Hall of Fame, visit Waterloo and Iowa City and continue engaging Iowans at retail events

Senator Kamala Harris will return to Iowa on Sunday, October 20 through Wednesday, October 23 for her fourth trip of the month. Harris will continue to engage voters personally at retail events and town hall meetings. In these stops, she will hear directly from Iowans about their experiences and the issues that matter most to them in this election. These personal interactions continue to shape Harris’ campaign, as she outlines ideas to take direct actions that benefit people’s lives.

On Sunday, October 20, Harris will spend her birthday with Linn County Democrats at their annual Hall of Fame Dinner.

On Monday, October 21, Harris will attend a house party in Marshalltown before hosting an evening town hall in Waterloo at UAW 838 and joining family dinner at a Waterloo home.

On Tuesday, October 22, Harris will join a Women for Kamala House Party in Cedar Rapids before traveling to Benton County, IA to attend a regular meeting of the local “Mamas for Kamala” group at the local public library. On the evening of October 22 Harris will hold a town hall at the University of Iowa.

On Wednesday, October 23, Harris will join Every Child Matters and “Caucus for Kids” for a conversation about her Children’s Agenda released last week, guaranteeing up to 6 months of paid family and medical leave and ensuring families can afford quality child care. Every Child Matters is an organization focused on closing the opportunity gap for Iowa’s children and families.

Additional Information! On Friday, doors will open at 4:30pm and the program will start at 6:30pm. Doors will close at 7:30pm and there won’t be any re-entry – so make sure you give yourself time to find parking!
