Julián Castro Returns to South Carolina for University Town Hall, Community Events Following Houston Debate
Castro will participate in events honoring Hispanic Heritage Month
SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 11, 2019) – Following Thursday’s Democratic debate in Houston, presidential candidate and former U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary under President Obama and San Antonio Mayor, Julián Castro, will return to South Carolina on Sunday for campaign events in Greenville and Columbia, including participating in a town hall at the University of South Carolina.
Secretary Castro will also attend a Greenville kickoff for Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins Sunday, and a Mexican Independence Day Celebration in Columbia.
