Bernie Sanders Campaign Statement
LAS VEGAS – Sen. Bernie Sanders’ Senior Advisor Jeff Weaver on Wednesday issued the following statement:
“During a campaign event yesterday evening, Sen. Sanders experienced some chest discomfort. Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted. Sen. Sanders is conversing and in good spirits. He will be resting up over the next few days. We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates.”
Bernie Sanders Returns to Nevada on October 2, 2019
WASHINGTON – Sen. Bernie Sanders will return to Nevada to host events in Las Vegas ahead of his participation in the Giffords and March for Our Lives’ Presidential Gun Safety Forum on Wednesday, October 2nd.

Information for the public: Doors open at 10:30am. This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is encouraged. Entrance is provided on a first come, first served basis. Parking is limited; attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or carpool.
