Amy Klobuchar Returns to Iowa for Field Office Openings, LGBTQ+ Forum, Polk County Democrats’ Steak Fry
DES MOINES, IA — U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar returns to the Hawkeye State Friday and Saturday for the 18th time since announcing her candidacy for president. Klobuchar will officially open campaign field offices in Burlington and Cedar Rapids and will tour Southeastern Community College in Burlington and meet with students. On Friday night, Klobuchar will speak at the LGBTQ+ forum hosted by One Iowa, GLAAD, The Advocate, The Gazette, and Coe College. On Saturday, she will rally with supporters and speak at the Polk County Democrats’ Steak Fry. Klobuchar’s trip comes on the heels of a new poll that has her gaining ground in Iowa and a spate of new endorsements.
