Pete Buttigieg Releases Spotify and Pandora Ads in Iowa and New Hampshire
SOUTH BEND, IN — As college students begin to head back to school, today Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s campaign began airing its first digital radio advertisements on Spotify and Pandora platforms. The digital ads will run across the state in Iowa and New Hampshire on both platforms. Pete for America is the first 2020 presidential campaign to run ads on Pandora.
The 30-second digital ad spots, titled “Back to Normal” and “A Moment,” underscore the urgent action required in this moment to break from the past and put forward real solutions to the challenges facing our country. In the ads, Buttigieg says new ideas are needed because the status quo isn’t working for most Americans when it comes to an increasingly unequal economy, gun violence, and a changing climate.

Back to Normal
PETE BUTTIGIEG: Hello Spotify, I’m Mayor Pete Buttigieg from South Bend Indiana and I'm running for president because our country's running out of time, but it's not too late.
Ask yourself how a guy like Donald Trump ever got within cheating distance of the Oval Office. That doesn't happen in ordinary times. It happened because we're already in crisis.
To win, we can't be the party of 'back to normal'--what we have now isn't working, and normal wasn’t working either.
We've got to do something completely different.
A Moment
PETE BUTTIGIEG: Hello Spotify I’m Mayor Pete Buttigieg. We're living in a moment that's even more serious than what the Trump presidency represents. We've seen it in the industrial Midwest. We've seen it with school shootings and climate change and an economy where the stock market goes up, and life expectancy goes down.
We are never going to be able to fix what is broken in Washington by recycling the same arguments and politicians that have dominated our politics for as long as I've been alive.
We've got to do something completely different.
