I'll be holding a “Cup of Joe on the Issues” event at 6pm at the Corning Public Library, 603 9th St, Corning, IA 50841. We’ll be talking about how our agriculture and food policy must take care of family farmers, the environment and health, and how “Training for a Lifetime” is the prerequisite for a labor force where technology changes so rapidly (for example, wireless GPS-guided tractors— what happens to our tractor drivers?). I will be addressing the Iowa Democratic Party’s Central Committee at 10am at Carpenter’s Local Union Hall 106, 1555 1st Ave N, Altoona, IA 50009.
I will be speaking to West Des Moines Democrats at 11am (Tavern Pizza & Pasta Grill, 1755 50th Ct, West Des Moines, Iowa 50266).
I will be marching in the Vinton Parade with Benton County Democrats at 2pm at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
I will be holding a town hall with Fox Brewing in West Des Moines (Fox Brewing, 103 S. 11th Street West Des Moines, IA 50265) from 6pm-8pm.
