Cory Booker Returns to Nevada for AFL-CIO Convention, Events with Community Leaders
Booker will join Assemblyman Alex Assefa for Conversation with Cory event, attend Hispanics in Politics breakfast in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV — Cory Booker will return to Nevada on Tuesday, August 27 and Wednesday August 28 to hold events with community leaders and speak at the AFL-CIO Convention in Las Vegas on how he will bring working people together to tackle the toughest problems we face as a nation.
In addition to the convention, Cory will join Assemblyman Alex Assefa for a Conversation with Cory event hosted by the Ethiopian Community Center and participate in Hispanics in Politics breakfast at Doña Maria Tamales where he will continue to highlight his plan to combat hate crimes and white supremacist violence. This will be Cory's sixth visit to the state since announcing his presidential campaign.
