Bernie Sanders to Visit Minnesota State Fair on Saturday, August 24, 2019
WASHINGTON – Sen. Bernie Sanders will visit the Minnesota State Fair on Saturday, August 24 and hold a grassroots fundraiser that night, which will be livestreamed here.
Sanders, who won Minnesota with 62% in 2016, has built a large statewide volunteer base as thousands of active volunteers have already held 200 events in Minnesota this year. Sanders has also received over 32,000 contributions from across the state, leading the field in fundraising in 32 counties and the Twin Cities.
