YANG CAMPAIGN REACHES 200K UNIQUE DONORS
NEW YORK — Today, Andrew Yang’s 2020 presidential campaign reached 200,000 unique donors, hitting yet another momentous fundraising milestone for the candidate and his team.
Every day, the reach of the campaign's "Humanity First" message broadens. Yang has received donations from 88% of the nation's zip codes with an average donation of $24.
In the weekend following the Detroit debate, Yang raised over $1 million, with 87% of donations coming from new donors.
To date, the campaign has raised $8 million and currently stands at $3.1 million raised in the third fundraising quarter.
"Receiving donations from almost 90% of zip codes in the United States proves how popular Yang's proposals are becoming. The more donors we gain and contributions we raise, the more powerful our message becomes," said Zach Graumann, Yang2020 Campaign Manager.
Yang will spend today in the South Carolina Lowcountry and the weekend visiting community members and opening two new campaign offices in New Hampshire. He is currently one of nine Democratic candidates who've qualified for the fall Democratic debates.
