GILLIBRAND BUS TOUR TO HIGHLIGHT TRUMP'S BROKEN PROMISES TO RUSTBELT VOTERS
Two-day bus tour starts July 11th in Pittsburgh & ends July 12th in Lansing, MI
This Thursday, Senator Gillibrand will kick off the “Trump Broken Promises Tour,” a two-day, three-state bus tour that will highlight President Trump’s broken promises to the American people on specific issues.The tour will include stops in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan—three states that President Barack Obama carried twice, but narrowly went for President Trump in 2016.
“The ‘Trump Broken Promises Tour,’ will shine a bright light on the president’s abject failure to keep his word to the American people on kitchen table issues that impact their lives each day,” said Senator Gillibrand. “We’ll head to Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan to highlight Trump’s empty promises on issues like drug prices, jobs and gun violence prevention with policy solutions that will actually deliver for working people. To beat President Trump, you have to have the courage and toughness to go toe-to-toe with him and call out his lies on the issues. That’s what this tour is about.”
