John Delaney to Ride in RAGBRAI on Wednesday, July 24, 2019
DES MOINES, IA – Presidential candidate John Delaney is returning to the Hawkeye State to participate in one of Iowa’s largest and most famous events, RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa). John is a fitness enthusiast and is excited to be joining in the fun of such an important annual Iowa tradition. RAGRAI began in 1973 and according the Iowa State Patrol as many as 30,000 riders are expected from Iowa and around the globe. Delaney’s last Iowa trip included the AARP Forum in Cedar Rapids and a visit in Mt. Vernon with area Democrats.

Despite a crowded field, John Delaney remains the only Democratic Presidential candidate to visit all 99 Iowa counties since 2007 and retains one of the state’s largest field operations teams.
