Cory Booker Returns to Iowa for Back-to-Back, Kitchen Table Issue Forums
Des Moines, IA - On Monday, July 15th, Cory Booker will return to Iowa for back-to-back forums covering kitchen table issues with local small business owners and retired Iowans.
Cory will be the first presidential candidate to participate in the Des Moines Area Community College’s presidential forum series on building a stronger economic future for America. Broadcast by IPTV, the hour-long forum will feature a conversation with Iowa Press host and longtime Iowa Caucus reporter David Yepsen followed by questions from the audience of small business owners and caucus-goers.
Next, Cory will head to Drake University to kick off a series of presidential forums being held by the AARP in partnership with the Des Moines Register. Cory will speak to retired Iowans about his vision for America, including the issues that matter most to Iowans like lowering prescription drug prices, fostering a sustainable economy, and protections for older Americans.
