Beto O'Rourke Returns to Austin for Meet and Greet at Scholz Garten
AUSTIN, TX. -- Beto O’Rourke will travel to Austin on Friday for a public meet and greet. Beto has been relentlessly traveling across the country sharing his vision for a new kind of politics where every person has a stake in their future. He's spent this campaign visiting communities that are too often forgotten by those in power, and working at a breakneck pace to ensure we mobilize the largest grassroots effort this country has ever seen. This will be Beto’s third visit to Austin since announcing his campaign for President.
In Change Research’s latest Texas poll, Beto held a three-point lead over Vice President Joe Biden and a twenty-five point lead over fellow Texan, Julian Castro. Beto also holds leads with women, as well as black and Latinx voters, continuing what he started during his historic campaign for the U.S. Senate where he received more votes than any Democrat in history and increased youth turnout by 200 percent.
