California Democratic Party Announces Speaking Lineup for 2019 Organizing Convention
Sacramento, Calif. – Today, the California Democratic Party announced speakers for the 2019 California Democratic Party State Organizing Convention that will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from May 31-June 2, 2019. The Friday Chair’s Welcome Reception will take place in the Moscone North Lower Lobby. General Sessions and Saturday Lunch/Dinner will take place in Hall F of Moscone North Hall.

The CDP Organizing Convention will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from May 31st to June 2nd, 2019. The theme of this year’s CDP Organizing Convention is “Blue Wave Rolling.”
The CDP State Convention is the largest gathering of active Democrats from around the State. There are more than 3,400 delegates registered and more than 300 media credentialed for this convention. Total number of delegates, guests, observers, volunteers, staff and media will be around 5,000 attendees.
This gathering will be instrumental in determining changes to the Party’s platform and will elect a new Chair to lead the CDP into 2020. (The CDP Organizing Convention is the first of two State Conventions the CDP will hold this year. The second is the CDP Endorsing Convention which will take place in November 2019.)
The California Democratic Party will be live-tweeting, live streaming, and otherwise keeping interested parties updated across social media using the hashtag #CADEM19 and #BlueWaveRolling.
