ERIC SWALWELL TO HOLD HOMETOWN RALLY IN DUBLIN, CA ON SUNDAY, APRIL 14
CORRECTED TIME
DUBLIN, CA – Congressman Eric Swalwell returns to Dublin on Sunday for the first rally in his home district since announcing his candidacy for President of the United States.
“After visiting Florida, Iowa and South Carolina this week, I can’t wait to come home to my family, friends, and neighbors in the East Bay,” Swalwell said. “I’m in this race to carry my constituents’ values and energy from coast to coast – to bring the promise of America to all Americans – and we’ll share that energy Sunday at the high school I graduated from 20 years ago.”
Swalwell, 38, now serving his fourth term representing California’s 15th Congressional District, announced his presidential candidacy Monday night on CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” He will travel next week to Nevada and New Hampshire.
Swalwell serves on the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees; co-chairs the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee; and is founder and chairman emeritus of Future Forum – a group of young House Democrats focused on listening to and acting upon the concerns of millennial Americans.
