MINNESOTA WELCOMES BACK PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – On Monday, April 15, 2019, President Donald J. Trump will visit Minnesota for the third time in less than a year.
Republican Party of Minnesota Chairwoman, Jennifer Carnahan, released the following statement:
"It's an honor to have President Trump back to Minnesota for the third time in the less than 12 months. The forward progress our country has made under his leadership is strong and includes the biggest tax reform in a generation.
"In 2016, President Trump came within 1.5% of winning our state's 10 electoral votes and the President won 78 of Minnesota's 87 counties.
"Our party is committed to delivering our electoral votes to President Trump in 2020, which would be the first-time for Minnesota to give its electoral votes to a Republican candidate for President since 1972."
