On Monday, March 18, 2019, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will join Governor Gretchen Whitmer for a meet and greet hosted by Fems for Dems in Clawson, Michigan. Earlier in the day, Senator Gillibrand will participate in a special MSNBC town hall event in Auburn Hills, Michigan, that will air at 8 p.m. EST.
This is Senator Gillibrand's first trip to Michigan since announcing her exploratory campaign for president in January. Senator Gillibrand previously campaigned on behalf of Governor Gretchen Whitmer at Wayne State University in Detroit in October 2018.
