Inslee to Tour IBEW Local 48 Training Center During “Climate Mission Tour” Stop in Oregon
Seattle - On Saturday, March 23rd, Governor Jay Inslee will be in Portland, Oregon, to tour the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 48’s Training Center as part of Inslee’s “Climate Mission Tour.” IBEW is a leader in training electricians in clean energy trades across the country, including in Oregon where clean energy sector jobs are growing faster than the state average.

Gov. Inslee’s “Climate Mission Tour” is focused on the need to create millions of clean energy jobs across the country while defeating the greatest challenge of our time—climate change. Gov. Inslee will meet workers in the clean energy economy, talk with students and climate activists, and hear from people around the country about the impacts of climate change and the need to invest in clean energy jobs.
