Bernie Sanders to Visit South Carolina on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15, 2019 *Updated
WASHINGTON -- Sen. Bernie Sanders will return to South Carolina today for the first time since launching his presidential campaign. He will host a rally in North Charleston followed by a roundtable Friday with medical professionals and South Carolinians impacted by the rising cost of health care.
Sanders last visited the state in January to honor the life, legacy and unfinished work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He spoke at the annual King Day at the Dome rally, an event hosted by the NAACP South Carolina State Conference, and attended other community gatherings around the state.
