ANDREW YANG QUALIFIES FOR FIRST DEMOCRATIC DEBATE
Andrew Yang passes fundraising threshold to qualify for first Democratic debate
NEW YORK, NEW YORK — Late Monday evening, presidential candidate Andrew Yang passed the grassroots fundraising threshold to qualify for the first Democratic primary debate set by the Democratic National Committee.
Yang currently has over 66,000 unique donors to his campaign with over 200 unique donors in 40 states. With only twelve days into the month, Yang has raised over $350,000 during March.
“It’s pretty clear that Andrew Yang is the story of the 2020 election. He has blown through the 65,000 donor requirement laid out by the DNC, and our goal is to increase that to 100k by the end of the month,” said Campaign Manager Zach Graumann. “The Yang Gang has built an army of supporters and small-dollar donors in all 50 states, and they’re excited to see Andrew discuss the Freedom Dividend and human-centered capitalism on the debate stage in June.”
