Democratic Presidential Candidate Makes Road Trip to Meet with Caucus-Goers in First Visit Since Announcing Campaign
SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 14, 2019) – On Thursday, February 21 to Saturday, February 23, presidential candidate, and former Obama Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and San Antonio Mayor, Julián Castro, will make his first trip as a candidate to Iowa, the first-in-the-nation caucus state. Secretary Castro will visit the state capitol, meet with students and Democratic activists and visit one of Iowa’s most diverse communities. More events will be added to the schedule and advised as they are confirmed.
