Andrew Yang Returns to Exeter, New Hampshire on Friday, February 8, 2019
After graduating from Exter Academy in the 1990s, Andrew Yang (D) is back – this time as a 2020 presidential candidate!
Andrew looks to bring his experience as a successful tech entrepreneur and innovator to the White House.
In 2011 he founded Venture for America (VFA), and spent 6 years helping to create more than 2,500 jobs in cities like Cleveland, Detroit, and Pittsburgh.
While traveling the country for VFA, Andrew realized that artificial intelligence threatens one-third of all jobs and that we need a vision for a radically different future. In his book, The War on Normal People (April 2018), he explains this crisis, arguing for The Freedom Dividend, a form of universal basic income that would provide every American adult $1,000 per month.
