RANDPAC Chief Digital Strategist Announcement
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senator Rand Paul has named Vincent Harris, as Chief Digital Strategist of his RANDPAC operation.
"Senator Paul stated, "We welcome Vince to our vibrant digital team. Vince will bring a new level to ingenuity and creativity to our online efforts moving forward. His past work demonstrates his tremendous ability to engage people online, and he will complement our aggressive online strategy."
Vincent Harris has played a leading role as a digital strategist in numerous campaigns across the country, including Senator Mitch McConnell's most recent reelection efforts in Kentucky. Previously, Harris led Senator Ted Cruz's online efforts and Governor Mike Huckabee's digital team during his campaign for the Republican nomination in 2008.
Harris added, "I am incredibly excited to join the accomplished, forward looking, and hard working Rand Paul organization. Senator Paul is a thought leader who has the ability to connect with every voter, regardless of age and background. His organization will be innovative, different, and use technology in ways never before used in politics. He has a natural base of liberty-minded technologists who will help ensure this organization is second to none when it comes to digital usage. As a fellow Baylor University Bear, I'm thrilled and honored to be working for a man with deep conviction and faith. Senator Paul can fix what's broken in Washington, D.C. and I'm ready to get to work helping him.
Senator Paul has assembled an influential online presence focused on fundraising, social media, and engagement. Harris will complement the current digital team consisting of Saber Communications and CanDo Politics.
Doug Stafford, Executive Director of RANDPAC, commented on his relationship with Harris, "Vince Harris is truly an innovator who has led the charge to bring the GOP into the digital age. His candor and honesty have enabled candidates across the nation to develop successful strategies that have been unrivaled in past campaigns."
