Hillary Rodham Clinton to headline campaign event in support of Sen. Franken and Gov. Dayton

On Thursday, Oct. 23, Hillary Clinton will headline a grassroots GOTV event in support of Sen. Al Franken and Gov. Mark Dayton at the Macalester College Leonard Center Field House.

Doors will open at 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Ticket information can be found at dfl.org/HRCevent and admission will be first come, first serve.

“We are excited to have Secretary Clinton back in Minnesota to support Senator Franken, Governor Dayton and the DFL ticket,” said DFL Chairman Ken Martin. “There’s a lot of work to do over the next two weeks and Minnesotans are energized to help get out of the vote, volunteer, knock on doors and talk to voters about what’s at stake this election.”

First Lady Michelle Obama to headline campaign rally in support of Sen. Franken and Gov. Dayton

On Tuesday, Oct. 21, First Lady Michelle Obama will headline a grassroots GOTV event in support of Sen. Al Franken and Gov. Mark Dayton at Patrick Henry High School in North Minneapolis.

Doors will open at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Ticket information can be found at dfl.org/mpls-rally and seating will be first come, first serve.

“We are excited to have First Lady Michelle Obama in Minnesota to support Senator Franken and Governor Dayton,” said DFL Chairman Ken Martin. “Minnesotans are energized to help get out the vote, volunteer and make sure their voices are heard on Election Day so we can keep moving Minnesota forward.”

President Obama’s Remarks at Lake Harriet Bandshell are free and open to the public.  
 
General Public tickets will be distributed on Wednesday, June 25, beginning at 12:00 PM at Lake Harriet Bandshell, 4135 W Lake Harriet Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55419.

One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited space, the White House will only be able to distribute a limited number of tickets.

Public Entry: Northwest and southwest entrances to Lake Harriet Bandshell, 4135 W Lake Harriet Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55419.

Public Parking: Parking will be available at Parade Ice Arena (600 Kenwood Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55403) and transportation provided to and from the site beginning at 6:45 AM. Limited street parking will be available in the surrounding neighborhoods of Lake Harriet.   

Doors Open: 8:30 AM

Tickets are required for entry. Tickets are not for sale or re-sale.

For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit personal items. No signs or banners are permitted. All attendees will go through airport-like security

(Minneapolis) - Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Keith Downey announced the appointment of Pete Hegseth as the Party’s new Finance Chair.
 
"We are excited to have Pete join us and bring his ideas to help grow the Party," said Downey. "As a decorated veteran and leader of a national veterans organization, Pete is someone all Minnesotans can be proud of.  We are very glad he answered our call to serve in this capacity.”   
 
With the party’s State Convention just two weeks away and an election in November, Hegseth will be focused on helping fund the campaign season and building the organization for the future.

"As Finance Chair I look forward to helping the Republican Party of Minnesota reach the next level," said Hegseth. “I’m heartened by the tremendous progress the Party has made under Keith’s leadership, and am humbled by his invitation to join the team. The people of Minnesota deserve a strong, effective, and viable Republican Party, and I look forward to doing my part to make that happen."
 
Hegseth has a history of helping organizations develop their infrastructure and grow their finances. As the executive director of Vets For Freedom, he expanded that non-profit budget from zero to $9 million. And as the leader of the nation’s largest conservative veterans organization, Hegseth is a leading voice for veterans and military families.
