Martin O'Malley to Return to Iowa For Post-Christmas New Leadership Forum Series

Des Moines, IA -- Governor O'Malley will return to Iowa immediately after the Christmas holiday to continue his series of New Leadership forums in a four day swing.

The New Leadership forums will focus on how Governor O'Malley will bring his vision to build on President Obama’s progress and address critical issues facing Iowa families - from creating a more far-seeing foreign policy to making sure our economy works for everyone.

Eight years ago, Iowans caucused for change—now isn’t the time to turn back the clock. Governor O’Malley is a forward-looking leader who is driven by principles, not polls and who actually has a record of delivering on issues Iowa progressives care about. He is the only candidate in the Democratic race campaigning the Iowa-caucus way and has spent more time in the state than any other candidate.

Des Moines – This Saturday, December 19th at 6:30pm CST, as Governor O’Malley takes the stage in New Hampshire for the third Democratic debate, O’Malley for Iowa will hold over 50 house parties statewide to watch the Governor make his case for new leadership to build off of President Obama’s progress and rebuild the American Dream.
 
These watch parties will help O’Malley for Iowa continue to engage and expand its network of grassroots support. Supporters will gather with their friends and neighbors to discuss Martin O’Malley’s role as a forward-looking leader who is driven by principles, not polls and who actually has a record of delivering on issues progressives care about.

BALTIMORE, MD - This Saturday, Governor O'Malley will return to South Carolina to participate in a presidential town hall with South Carolina State Senator Marlon Kimpson (D-Charleston). The event is being co-sponsored by The Charleston Democratic Party and the House Democratic Delegation, including State Representatives J. Seth Whipper, David J. Mack III, Wendell G. Gilliard, Mary E. Tinkler, and Robert L. Brown.
