MADISON – Governor Scott Walker will travel to Iowa this Friday and Saturday to meet with local activists, hold political meetings, conduct local press interviews, and deliver remarks to the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition Spring Kickoff in Waukee. While in Iowa, Walker will travel to Davenport, Cedar Rapids, Sioux Center, Sheldon, and Des Moines to continue to lay out the principles of Our American Revival (OAR), share his message of big, bold reform, and discuss the OAR issue platform.

Marco Rubio will make his first visit to Iowa as a presidential candidate on Saturday, April 25. His visit will include attending an ice cream social at the home of Senator Jack & Rachel Whitver and speaking at the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition Spring Kick-Off. Marco will also visit the Des Moines Register and meet with local business and political leaders. This is Marco’s second visit to Iowa in 2015, and his sixth since the last presidential election.

Senator Lindsey Graham to Attend Story County Freedom Run on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at SCORE Pavilion in Nevada, Iowa

Story County GOP Chairman Brett Barker announced today that Senator Lindsey Graham will be attending the second annual Story County Freedom Run. Among the planned participants are U.S. Senator Joni Ernst and Iowa Auditor Mary Mosiman. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25 at SCORE Pavilion in Nevada, IA. Included in the day’s events are a 5k race, a one-mile walk, and a children’s fun run. A pancake breakfast will immediately follow the race. All money raised will be directly contributed to the Story County Freedom Flight.

“We are very grateful for Senator Graham’s support of the Story County Freedom Run,” said Chairman Barker. “Senator Graham serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee and has been a champion for veterans issues.“

DONALD TRUMP TO DELIVER SPEECH AT WARTBURG COLLEGE

Iowa -- Donald Trump, real estate developer, TV celebrity and potential U.S. presidential candidate, will be making a stop at Wartburg College to talk on education issues.

The speech is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. April 29 in Neumann Auditorium, located on the Wartburg campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Trump is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. He also is executive producer and host of "The Apprentice" and "Celebrity Apprentice," reality television shows that began in 2003 and feature Trump's signature line, "You're fired!"

Trump announced on March 18 that he was launching a presidential exploratory committee.
