Miami, FL – Governor Bush is traveling to Iowa next week. On Monday he will attend a meet and greet on the campus of Morningside College in Sioux City before heading to Ames to speak at the Story County GOP dinner. On Tuesday, Governor Bush will attend a meet and greet at Barley’s Pub in Council Bluffs.

Respected Conservative Leader Karen Fesler Joins Perry Iowa Team

AUSTIN — Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) announced Karen Fesler will join his growing Iowa campaign as Statewide Co-Chair. She joins conservative icon Sam Clovis in leading Gov. Perry’s Iowa campaign.

Fesler has substantial political experience in both Missouri and Iowa. She has worked for:

The Governor, who spent last week rolling out detailed progressive policy ideas for debt-free college and reigning in Wall Street megabanks, will hold events on Thursday and Friday to discuss his plan to use executive action to provide immediate relief to the millions of New Americans and forge a new consensus for comprehensive immigration reform for the 21st Century.

Colonel Brian Miller recently retired as the Commander of the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City after serving for 34 years.  During his distinguished career he deployed to over 20 different countries plus numerous stateside locations.  In 2010-2011 Colonel Miller deployed for 7 months to Kabul, Afghanistan as the Vice Commander of the 9th Air and Space Expeditionary Task Force-Afghanistan.  He was second in command for the 9,500 airmen deployed to Afghanistan as well as over 100 combat aircraft.  He advised General officers from 6 nations on effective combat employment of United States Airpower.  Colonel Miller’s numerous awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Medal, and Afghanistan Campaign Medal.
