Former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack to Campaign for Hillary Clinton Across Central Iowa
Iowans Can Vote Now and Learn More about Early Voting at Hillary Clinton.com/WithHerFirst
Des Moines -- On Sunday, October 9, and Monday, October 10, former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack will campaign on behalf of Hillary Clinton across central Iowa. Vilsack will attend organizing events around the state, focusing on Hillary Clinton’s plans to strengthen investments throughout rural America and will encourage Iowans to vote early.
Clinton has put an emphasis and focus on rural America by promising to create a $25 billion national infrastructure bank -- leveraging up to an additional $225 billion in federally supported investment for energy, water, broadband, transportation and multi-modal infrastructure projects. Clinton has also committed to delivering the boldest increase in federal infrastructure investment since President Eisenhower built the Interstate Highway System.
With more people voting in this election than any in history, Iowans can vote now either by mail or in person at their county auditor’s office. Iowans face a clear choice in this election between Clinton, who believes that we are stronger together -- when our economy works for everyone, not just those at the very top, and Donald Trump, who will tear this country apart and do serious harm to our economy.
