BATON ROUGE – Today, the Jindal for President campaign committee announced its key staff members for the 2016 presidential election:

Curt Anderson – Chief Strategist; partner at OnMessage, Inc. (OMI), Jindal advisor since 2003 gubernatorial campaign, former Republican National Committee (RNC) Political Director and Reagan White House aide

Timmy Teepell – Campaign Manager; partner at OnMessage, Inc. (OMI), former Jindal Chief of Staff and campaign manager for Jindal gubernatorial and congressional campaigns

Wes Anderson – Lead Pollster; partner at OnMessage Inc. (OMI), pollster for Jindal gubernatorial and congressional campaigns since 2003
Last election cycle, OMI had 6 statewide races and won them all - Governor's Rick Scott (FL), Gov. Asa Hutchison (AR), Sen. Thom Tillis (NC), Sen. Tom Cotton (AR), Sen. Cory Gardner (CO), and LG Tim Griffin (AR).   And they have won many other races around the country, including Sen. Ron Johnson (WI), Sen. Thad Cochran (MS-2008), Gov. Jack Dalrymple (ND), Gov. Matt Mead (WY), Gov. Don Carcieri (RI), Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves (MS), Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey (TN), Governor Jindal's races for both Congress and Governor, and over 30 congressional races

In 2014, OMI helped candidates beat three incumbent senators in a single cycle. No Republican media firm has ever done that. OMI has also helped candidates beat a House incumbent Democrat in each of the last four election cycles. No other firm has ever done that either. In the last decade, Republicans have only beaten seven Democratic Senators, and OMI delivered four of those seven.

Today, Governor Bobby Jindal confirmed that he will soon make a major announcement regarding the 2016 Presidential election.

The announcement will take place on June 24th in New Orleans, LA.
 
Speaking about the decision, Governor Jindal said:
 
"For some time now, my wife Supriya and I have been thinking and praying about whether to run for the Presidency of our great nation. I'm pleased to say that we will announce our final decision on June 24th in New Orleans.
 
"If I decide to announce on June 24th that I will seek the Republican nomination for President, my candidacy will be based on the idea that the American people are ready to try a dramatically different direction. We don't need just small changes, we need a dramatically different path.
 
"President Obama has started to redefine the American Dream, turning it into the European Nightmare. Because of this, I believe our country is in serious trouble and that the hour is late for America. Economic collapse is much closer to the door than people realize, our culture is decaying at a rapid rate, and our standing in a dangerous world is at an all-time low.
 
"However, the problems caused by 7 years of weak leadership and mistakes in the Obama administration can be corrected. But they won't be fixed by just sending Republicans to Congress.  It will only be fixed by a President who is willing to make hard decisions and who has the ideas to change our country's future.
 
"While other Republican leaders are talking about change, I've published detailed plans to repeal and replace Obamacare, rebuild America's Defenses, make America energy independent, and reform Education for our nation's children."

Speaking about the committee launch, Governor Jindal said:
