Republican Party of Minnesota Issues Statement On Election Results
(Minneapolis, Minn.,) - On the heels of an historic night of Republican victories across the country and in Minnesota, chairman Keith Downey released the following statement:
"It was clearly a great night for Donald Trump and for Republicans nationally and here in Minnesota. Congratulations and thanks to all our Minnesota candidates and Speaker Daudt and Minority Leader Hann for their dedication in the campaign and for delivering a positive message across the state. Most importantly, the people have spoken, demanding security abroad and at home, true economic recovery, and healthcare that works. As a Party we are grateful for the voters' confidence, and we turn now to the large task of working with our colleagues across the aisle to make America and Minnesota great."
