Tim Kaine to Campaign in North Carolina for the Start of Early Voting *Updated

On Wednesday, October 19, and Thursday, October 20, vice presidential nominee Senator Tim Kaine will campaign in North Carolina. At events in Asheville, Charlotte, and Durham, he will lay out the stakes of November's election and outline Hillary Clinton's and his vision of an America that is stronger together, with an economy that works for all, not just those at the top.

With more people voting in this election than any in history, Kaine will encourage voters to take advantage of one-stop early voting, which begins on October 20, and urge North Carolina voters to check their registration status at iwillvote.com.

Donald J. Trump For President Campaign Announces $100 Million September Fundraising Record

DONALD J. TRUMP CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES $100 MILLION HAUL, A NEW FUNDRAISING RECORD
 
NEW YORK, NY – Today the Donald J. Trump Campaign for President announced historic totals from September’s fundraising efforts. The $100 million haul (inclusive of TMAGA/Trump Victory) came mostly from small donors and includes a monthly $2 million dollar contribution from Mr. Trump.

Mr. Trump’s contribution more than covered the costs of any reimbursements to him (or his related entities) for his plane and office rent; which the law mandates to be reimbursed. He has contributed an unprecedented amount to his campaign. This brings total raised to date (inclusive of his contributions) to 360 million dollars.

The Campaign and both Joint Fundraising Committees finished the month with very strong cash positions on hand, totaling approximately $75 million.

Since the campaign started, 2.6 million people have contributed to the campaign (a 24% increase from the previous month). This is an unprecedented number historically for any Republican candidate.

“These numbers show that Donald Trump continues to have incredible broad based support from across America. WASHINGTON – Today the Republican National Committee (RNC) announced the Party has raised $262.3 million this cycle. The Party raised $39.4 million in September and currently has $56.6 million cash on hand.
 
“With our ground game fully funded, we will continue to raise and spend on additional resources that will put Donald Trump in the White House with Republican majorities in the House and Senate,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. "Our supporters are enthusiastic about Donald Trump, and as a result this was one of the best months in RNC history for small dollar fundraising. The RNC has worked tirelessly since 2013 to build the best ground game in politics, and with thousands of staffers and volunteers in the field right now, the amount we’ve raised this month will continue to help deliver Republican victories at every level.”
 
The RNC, with the encouragement of the Trump campaign, has also transferred $4.5 million to the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and $1.85 million to the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC) this cycle. The RNC transferred $3 million this cycle to the NRSC and $1.2 million to the NRCC through September, and also transferred an additional $1.5 million to the NRSC and over $600,000 to the NRCC in early October.
 
“The Trump campaign is happy to see resources being directed to the NRSC and NRCC in order to keep Republican majorities in the House and the Senate this cycle,” said Donald J. Trump for President CEO Steven Bannon. “Our commitment to making sure we will have a Republican Congress in place to work with a Trump Administration remains strong.”
 
While both the NRSC and NRCC were part of RNC Victory Fund allocations in 2012, this year they were not automatically designated as recipients of funds raised by the RNC and the Trump campaign JFCs (Joint Financial Committees).
